Northern Ireland Calor Village of the Year 2010

The search for this year’s Calor Village of the Year © Northern Ireland 2010 is now on!  This is the fourth year of this competition which is open to all rural community/ village associations throughout Northern Ireland representing communities with a population of not more than 4,500 and is sponsored by Calor Gas NI Ltd in association with the Northern Ireland Rural Development Council (RDC).  This year a new element of the competition has been introduced specifically to encourage entries from smaller rural communities with a population of less than 1,000.

 

Each category winner will receive a prize of £1,000, and there is also a prize of £1,000 for the Rural Community Award.  £5,000 will be awarded to the village that is given the title of Calor Village of the Year © 2010.
